OK, I'm going to go ahead and put this in bold right here before my actual message so that nobody gets the wrong idea:
I myself don't know anything about politics. Period. Don't try and discuss anything with me - one, I don't want to start shit, and two, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about anyway.
This stamp, however, is dedicated to the people (mostly teenagers) who obviously don't know shit about politics and act like they do and spout off what mumsy and daddums told them whether or not it's right. This stamp is dedicated to people who are like COMMUNISM IS BAD without even knowing what communism is. Or the people who are like PRO LIFE YEAH without even bothering to consider what pro choice means.
(If anyone here comes to call me a communist or a fetus killer, I swear to God.)
Anyway. I was in social studies today, thinking about types like this, and thought I might make a stamp about it - especially because a lot of folks on dA are into history and politics and whatnot and they might appreciate it.
(Also, I was thinking about how amusing it is when social studies/history teachers act like they know about politics when they don't.)
I mean, if you don't know about politics, that's fine, but don't pretend you know what you're talking about. It just makes you look like an idiot. 8|
